Allan’s Afterschool is. . . an urban backyard, an after school clubhouse, a place to be with friends, and so much more!
This is a unique after school program that combines supervised childcare with space and time for kids to play, create, build, make music, climb, run, sew, draw, read, imagine, dress-up, explore and make new friends!
Every afternoon our experienced and dedicated staff picks up the children from PS 41.
We walk over to our spacious home base at The First Presbyterian Church at 12th Street and 5th Avenue.

Specialized classes which kids may choose: karate, yoga, arts & crafts, photography, piano, guitar, dance, cartooning, strategy board gaming, needle arts and more!

Our schedule is very flexible which is great for families. Kids may attend any number of days per week and even switch days when necessary. Plus, we’re here when you need last-minute child care.
Our hours are 3 to 6 PM every school day. Pick-up is by 6 PM, but you may pick-up your child anytime during each session.
We offer open, rolling enrollment. Register your child anytime during the school year.
Allan’s Afterschool is owned and directed by Victoria Ruggiero, a longtime Greenwich Village resident. Victoria has a Master’s degree in Education and taught both elementary and secondary school. She is the mother of Jade Ruggiero, a recent PS 41 graduate.
